This Healthy Simple Spaghetti is so easy to make and everyone will give it a thumbs up. It’s paired with an easy side salad and quick garlic toast.

Super Simple Spaghetti, Side Salad, Whole Wheat Garlic Toast

Ingredients

Super Simple Spaghetti

  • 1 lb ground beef optional, 90% lean or leaner
  • 1 jar marinara no sugar listed in ingredients
  • 1/2 cup asiago cheese freshly grated
  • 1 lb 100% whole wheat spaghetti noodles

Side Salad

  • 5 oz spring greens
  • 1/2 cucumber sliced
  • 12 grape tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup pepitas toasted

Creamy Garlic Salad Dressing

  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp fresh basil
  • 1 tsp himalayan salt
  • 1 Tbsp honey

Whole Wheat Garlic Toast

  • 4 slices 100% Whole Grain Bread no high fructose corn syrup
  • 4 tsp unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tsp garlic powder to taste

Instructions

Super Simple Spaghetti

  • Brown meat, if using. Drain. Add sauce. Cook 5 min or until sauce is heated through. Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Serve meat sauce over noodles. Sprinkle with cheese.

Side Salad

  • Arrange greens in 4 bowls or plates. Top with cucumbers and tomatoes. Sprinkle with pepitas. Drizzle with dressing.

Salad Dressing

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Garlic Toast

  • Toast the bread in a toaster to desired crispness. Spread with butter, and sprinkle with garlic powder. Serve.

Notes

Leave out the ground beef for vegetarian
