I love love love balsamic vinegar! And balsamic vinaigrette is my favorite dressing of all! But even the high end ones in the store have added sugars, making them red tier. This version was adapted from myrecipes.com and is sweetened with honey instead. It makes for a great Healthy Balsamic Vinaigrette.
This one goes great on this Steak Cobb Salad!
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 1 Tbsp bottled minced garlic
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- Add all ingredients to a shaker cup or blender. Shake or blend to combine. Arrange vinaigrette evenly over salad, or, if prepping ahead, into water-tight containers.
