It’s buffalo!  It’s chicken!  It’s pasta!  You’ve got the best of all worlds with this creamy buffalo chicken pasta recipe, which is mild enough for the kids and buffalo-ey enough for the grown up appetites (though you may want to add a bit more sauce).

Creamy Buffalo Chicken Pasta

Instructions

    To Cook Immediately (slow cooker)
    1. Add chicken, broth, ¼ cup buffalo sauce, and seasonings to slow cooker. Top with both cheeses. Cook on high 4 hours or low 8 hours. Remove chicken; shred with two forks or in stand mixer fitted with the paddle. Add remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce to chicken and toss well; set aside.
    2. 20 minutes before serving, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Stir chicken and pasta into slow cooker. Serve garnished with cilantro, if desired.
    To Freeze
    1. Add chicken, broth, ¼ cup buffalo sauce, seasonings and both cheeses to large zip top freezer bag. Freeze.
    To Cook After Freezing (Slow Cooker)
    1. Add frozen meal to slow cooker. Cook on high 6 hours or low 10 hours. Remove chicken; shred with two forks or in stand mixer fitted with the paddle. Add remaining ¼ cup buffalo sauce to chicken and toss well; set aside.
    2. 20 minutes before serving, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain. Stir chicken and pasta into slow cooker. Serve garnished with cilantro, if desired.
    Recipe Notes

    Ashanti Wing Sauce or Frank's Red Hot Sauce are both clean versions that can be used here.
