Instructions
Heat skillet over medium heat. While skillet is heating, butter one side of each slice of bread.
Layer cheese evenly on the insides (non-buttered sides) of the bread.
Reduce heat to medium-low. Cook each sandwich, butter side down, 2 minutes. Flip, and cook 2 minutes on other side. (or until golden brown.)
Notes
Note: Real American cheese is green tier, but "American Cheese Food" or "American Cheese Singles" or anything that doesn't contain the word "real" in it, are red tier. Choose carefully. You can also use cheddar.Additionally, we used 3 slices of cheese per sandwich because our bread was wide and we like things kind of cheesy. Feel free to use less, if you like.
