Preheat broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Place pepper halves cut side down on prepared baking sheet. Flatten with the palm of your hand. Broil 15-20 minutes or until skin is blackened and blistery. Using tongs, carefully place peppers in a zip top plastic bag. Seal.
Let stand 15 minutes. Remove from bag and gently peel and discard skin. Use immediately or store up to 1 week in the fridge.
