Instructions
All Purpose Baking Mix
Combine all ingredients and add to an airtight freezable container, such as a freezer bag. Store up to 1 year in the freezer. Use 1:1 in any recipe calling for all purpose baking mix.
Whole Grain Biscuits
Preheat oven to 450. Spray cast iron skillet or cake pan with cooking spray. Mix All Purpose Baking Mix and milk in a medium bowl. Stir until a soft dough forms. Sprinkle additional baking mix on a clean work surface. Add dough, and turn several times to coat in mix. Knead 7-10 times.
Roll dough out to about 1/2 inch thick. Using a round biscuit cutter or the rim of a drinking glass, cut biscuits. Place biscuits in prepared pan. Gather any scraps and knead them together; roll out, and cut. Repeat as many times as necessary to use all or most of the dough.
Bake at 450 for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm with butter and honey, if desired.
